Bose manufacture some of the best noise cancelling headphones on the market, and the QC 35 II are no exception!
We can personally vouch for the quality of the Bose QuietComfort 35 II, after collectively using these noise cancelling headphones for more than 500 hours on flights, walking around noisy neighbourhoods and of course in the home office. The Bose QC 35 II headphones exhibit an extraordinary range of sound at any volume, and fantastic noise-cancelling capabilities.
QC 35 II noise cancelling
The Bose Quietcomfort 35 II utilise a one-button control to adjust between two levels of noise cancelling options. The first allows the wearer to slightly reduce background noise – meaning they can still hear a small amount of noise from the outside world. The other option completely cancels out background noise – enabling the wearer to focus solely on whatever they are listening to, or not listening to (if silence is preferred). Alternatively, if you prefer to hear the outside world entirely, pressing the noise cancelling button for a third time will switch off noise cancellation altogether. This is handy when trying to hear the baby monitor in the home office whilst listening to a podcast.
QC 35 II voice assistant
With the introduction of Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant from it’s predecessor through the new ‘action’ button, the wearer has the choice of listening to whatever they like. This may be news, sports scores, music, podcasts or anything else they want to ask their assistant, all the while enabling noise cancelling features if they want.
QC 35 II design
Besides the technology advantages of these headphones, the Bose QuietComfort 35 II are designed with soft cushion earbuds made from leather and an adjustable headband. Making it extremely comfortable for long periods spent in the office. The only downside to the QuietComfort 35 II design is that the earpads can tend to heat up easily in warm environments (especially during a gym session) causing sweatiness around the ear. Over time this can cause the earpads to deteriorate, but for a small cost these pads can be easy replaced.
QC 35 II microphone
The Bose QuietComfort 35 II cannot be faulted for sound quality, and noise cancelling capabilities. However, if you are required to make phone calls outside of the office, the microphone does pick up some background noise. Whilst the Bose QC 35 II utilises noise-rejecting technology and works great in quiet office environments, if you decide to venture out onto a loud street, the recipient of your phone call may have difficulties hearing you. However if music, podcasts and noise cancellation are your focus, the QuietComfort 35 II’s are highly recommended.
Verdict
Overall, these are an exceptional product from our view! The comfort design paired with the fantastic sound quality and ease-of-use buttons create a product that can be used for hours in your office at home. The stand-out feature of these headphones are its ability to provide the same perfect sound at any volume. Regardless of whether your walking down a busy supermarket isle or sitting in a quiet office.
